WILDLIFE
Whatever the time of year, Bragg Creek is a magical place, made even more so by sharing it with our amazing hairy, furry and feathery neighbors. Deer are some of the most common wildlife residents to be found in Bragg Creek, but if you venture slightly further afield you will likely meet other inhabitants such as the moose, coyote, Great Horned Owl, bobcat, lynx, eagle, osprey, loon and depending on where you live, on rare occasions, the bear and cougar.

REDWOOD MEADOWS – LEASED LAND
Redwood Meadows is an enchanting community in the Rocky Mountain foothills,built around a championship 18 hole golf course. Only 25 minutes west of Calgary, Redwood Meadows is a 5 minute drive from Bragg Creek.
The homes in Redwood Meadows are situated on lands which are leased to homeowners. These lands were surrendered by the Tsuu T’ina Nation to the Federal Government in 1974 and subsequently leased to homeowners through Sarcee Developments Ltd. The lease expires in 2049 with efforts underway to negotiate an extension to the lease.

EMERGENCY SERVICES
Redwood Meadows has volunteer emergency services and a fire hall which provide fire, rescue and first response medical services to Redwood Meadows and the surrounding Bragg Creek area. www.rmesfire.org

The Priddis Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical first response care to the M.D. of Foothills.
